Meet The Red Spark Team: Amy Quinn

Amy Quinn is Red Spark’s talent acquisition lead, and her superior recruiting skills are what keeps prospective hires coming through the door. Amy’s knowledge about digital advertising, her friendly and outgoing personality, and her ability to connect with just about anyone makes her the perfect talent acquisition lead at Red Spark. How did you find Red Spark?

Red Spark actually found me, in a way. I was here with my former colleague for a meeting to discuss recruiting, and before I knew it, they recruited me! Next thing you know it was my first day!

How did you get started in your field?

A friend of mine worked with a company that she absolutely loved, and she referred me to a position in recruiting. I truly had no idea what recruiting entailed, but I took a chance and fell in love with it.

Name one thing you can’t live without.

I definitely can’t live without coffee, but I also can’t live without Prosecco. Those things are of equal importance in my life.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of the office?

I love to read, travel anywhere with a beach, spend time with my husband and our pup, hang out with family and friends. You know, the usual.

What are the biggest challenges of your role?

Hunting unicorns. The company is full of brilliant and talented individuals who come together and operate as a real team. The bar for talent is set very high and finding someone that can surpass expectations can be tough, but it’s very rewarding when we find who we’re looking for! Each department requires different skills, so the kinds of talent we search for changes day-to-day.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Red Spark?

The people. It is very rewarding to work with not only incredibly smart individuals but people who genuinely care about your success. I continue to learn something new every day, and to me, that is imperative for personal and professional growth.
